Wyoming County native Larry Jackson files to run for WV’s District 1 Representative

by: Caleb Okes

GHENT, WV (WVNS) – As the deadline to file for candidacy in the upcoming election looms, we take a look at one candidate who will be running for Representative Carol Miller’s current seat.

Our economic policy must once again serve the American worker first—not global corporations, not foreign competitors, and not political elites who profit while communities fall behind.

A strong nation is built on strong jobs, strong wages, and industries rooted here at home.

I believe in an economy that rewards effort, restores American manufacturing, and protects our workforce from unfair foreign competition. Government should clear the path for growth—not stand in the way—while ensuring the prosperity created in this country stays in this country.

This is not ideology.
It is common sense and national strength.
